As if we haven’t traveled enough yet, we headed off to New York to hang out with Mary and Paul. The original design was a gift for Lynn’s birthday. We bought tickets to the New York Ed Sheeran concert at the Meadow Lands. Mary and Paul agreed to join us.
We arrived on Thursday with just enough time get to the house, change clothes and head out to a Yankee’s vs. Red Sox baseball game. Paul got us tickets to the Delta Sky Club. It was a great section of the stadium with an excellent view of the whole field. The game was very high scoring and that includes a grand slam. Unfortunately, the Yankees lost. But, the Red Sox clinched the title.
Friday night was the Ed Sheeran Concert. We started with dinner at the Capitol Grill. The concert was really good. Everyone thought it was amazing that Ed Sheeran did the whole show by himself. No backup musicians or singers. Just him and his guitar. He’s a very talented guy.
On Saturday, we took short tour of Manhattan and headed back to Cincinnati. Good times.
