Great day touring Civita di Bagnoregio. It was just Lynn and I today.
Like most of the cities here, it’s super old too. In fact, they called it the “dead city” for a long time but recently has been revived by decedents of the original residents. While the whole thing was cool, this city is a major tourist trap. There was a cost to park, a cost to climb up the bridge, a cost to use the toilette. And then, the only shops sold souvenirs and food. A couple of them had signs saying “by entering, you agree to purchase or donate”. GRRR.
Connie, Jackie, Steve and Barry went to the the lake city of Bolsena. They walked around around and visited a church; big surprise here. It was a beautiful day today. Look forward to more touring tomorrow.
