We visited the city of Orvieto today. It has history dating back to 1200BC. The city we visited today was first established in 700AD. It sits high upon a plateau that makes it hard for invading armies to approach.
There is an inclined cable car that takes you to the top. Mostly we walked around the city and did some light shopping. We stopped for lunch in a very cool underground restaurant called “Restaurant Le Grotte del Funaro”. The food is outstanding.
In the evening we played games and locked in on “Heads Up”. Lots of good laughs. Having a great time.
