So I painted the dining room. Lynn warned me to hire out this job but I wouldn’t listen.
The dining room has a chair-rail. Below the chair-rail are 12 framed boxes created using strips of moulding. Cutting in those boxes was pure torture. My guess is it took me a total of 14 hours to completely paint just that one room. Of that time, 95% was trim work. If you need a steady hand to cut-in a room, I’m your man.
In the end, I think it came out nicely but wow what a lot of work.
