YES!! IT’S TIME FOR VACATION!!
We packed the van with five suit cases, four bikes, three weeks of groceries, two teenage boys and one guitar (yes we had a LOT of stuff). Nathan brought his buddy Reese Allison who we picked up at 9:00am.
The drive from Cincinnati to Glen Arbor, MI was an even nine hours. Must be the first day of vacation, it felt like nineteen hours.
We met Lynn’s parents in Michigan. They had flown to Detroit on Monday and drove to Gladys’ sister Cookie’s house.
The whole group met at the Homestead on Tuesday night. A very nice resort right on Lake Michigan. It’s just a mile from Glen Arbor. It has a Spa, pool on the lake, nice beach and the rooms had a great view of the Lake.
